Wendi M. Weiner

Wendi M. Weiner is Of Counsel to the firm in the Palm Beach office. Ms. Weiner is a graduate of Florida State University (B.S., 1999) and Stetson College of Law (J.D., 2003), where she received the William F. Blews Pro Bono Award for her volunteer service to the community. Ms. Weiner was admitted to practice in Florida in 2004 and has represented both insurance carriers and policyholders at the trial and appellate levels, including handling first and third-party coverage matters, SIU/Fraud cases, bad faith claims, liability/personal injury defense, construction defect defense, and subrogation cases. Ms. Weiner's experience in representing insurance carriers has extended to coverage work as well, as she has been called upon to draft coverage opinion letters, appellate evaluation letters and file declaratory judgment actions for insurance carriers in both the federal and state courts. Ms. Weiner has experience working for a large national firm and has also served as in-house counsel to an insurance company as its liability and coverage counsel. In addition to practicing law, Ms. Weiner is an adjunct professor of college writing, and she has been previously nominated for Adjunct Professor of the Year. Ms. Weiner has also served as a lecturer for business writing seminars and has taught business law courses at local colleges in the South Florida area for a number of years. Ms. Weiner joined the firm in August of 2010.
