Joseph G. Hern, Jr. is an associate attorney with the firm, admitted to practice in Florida in 1982. Mr. Hern is a graduate of Rutgers College (B.A., 1978), and the Stetson University College of Law (J.D., 1982, cum laude), where he was a Charles A. Dana Scholar and member of the National Moot Court team. Mr. Hern has been a practicing attorney for over 28 years handling civil and appellate litigation. He previously worked as a Central Staff Attorney and Appellate Mediation Officer for the First District Court of Appeal. Prior to joining the firm, he was Claims Legal Counsel for Nationwide Insurance Companies providing legal support for fifteen claims units in personal lines, commercial and non-standard claims matters. Mr. Hern joined the firm in December of 2005.
